If you are looking to save some money, an outlet store I recommend for quality name brand is Sak’s Off Fifth. The spin off of Sak’s Fifth Avenue carries the lines of clothing that either didn’t sell well or that were leftover from what was “hot” a few weeks ago. This doesn’t mean that the clothes are bad or outdated, just that they didn’t sell but Sak’s Fifth Avenue still wants to make money from them. Sweaters from well-known brands such as DNKY, Marc Jacobs, BCBG and others will be deeply discounted while still stylish.
Believe it or not, a great place to find women’s sweaters is Target. While their quality won’t last forever, they are stylish and incredibly cheap. They have sweaters for all ages, and all for a very affordable price. Their selection changes often, and varies from different locations, so even though many of the same sweaters are being sold, it is rare that you will run into someone with the same piece of clothing.
A higher end department store with great prices is Macy’s. While their brands vary from very well known designers to specially made-for-Macy’s items, they are often on sale. Macy’s is well known for their semi-annual sales, which boast big discounts on very expensive items.
While we raved about Nordstrom, we can’t forget to mention Nordstrom Rack. This high quality but discount store is the best of both worlds. The sweaters are some of the same great brands that Nordstrom has, but with discounts guaranteed to make you smile. Nordstrom Rack gains clothing from the parent store and sells everything with discounted prices, but still holds the same quality that Nordstrom has.
